To mark the tenth anniversary of the European Voluntary Service (EVS) in Cartagena on Saturday December 12 at 10.30 hours will be held a meeting of several volunteers who will welcome the other participants: a total of 20 volunteers from from different countries like Germany, Slovenia, Poland, France, Italy, Armenia, Philippines, Estonia and Greece.
Also present at the opening will be the councilman of Youth, Ricardo Segado.
All these participants are now doing projects in institutions of the Region of Murcia as Cazalla, Astrada, University of Murcia, the City of Cartagena or Revolica.
In addition, information will be given in person to all Cartagena interested in living a learning experience abroad and the steps to take part in these projects of the Youth Council of Cartagena.
As a requirement, these programs are aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years and manages the mobility space, and that the City of Cartagena is an entity accredited by the European Commission to work with projects EVS sending and hosting.
Local volunteers will host the day and after the briefing, accompany the other participants rest in a small sightseeing tour of the historic town.
