The City of Cartagena presented last week its annual campaign to collect toys, which got underway today with the opening of the first week collection points.
This morning the deputy mayor and councilor of consumption area, Francisco Calderon, accompanied by the Councillor for Social Services, Mª Carmen Martin and Social Services Coordinator, Damian Perez Olmos, has opened three points to collect toys for those interested in showing their solidarity.
At the opening ceremony were present Pedro Gonzalez, director of marketing Practiser; Alfredo Carvajal, director of El Corte Ingles, along with Maria Carmen Gomez, head of external relations of the center;
and by Eroski, Juan Perez, responsible for clients and external relations;
as well as municipal volunteers involved in the campaign.
As of December 14 it will also be operating point of the administrative building of San Miguel, and for a few days and can also leave toys in the Student House and the Hospital Santa Lucia.
