On Thursday 3 December, as every year, the International Day of Disabled Persons is celebrated.
For this reason the City of Cartagena makes a series of events throughout the morning.
At 12.00 hours will begin a reading of the new unit set up to care for people with disabilities, and as the linchpin of the new line of action will be presented at the ceremonial hall of the Consistory Municipal Plan Disability under the slogan Cartagena Everyone.
In designing the plan, besides the City Council, various associations have participated as ASID, apexes, ananda, or ASTUS ASTEAMUR, among others.
In addition, it will announce an audit of accessibility in order to know the reality of the city in terms of accessibility, security and equality for people.
The event will be representing the City of Cartagena through the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, and the second deputy mayor and councilor of Greater Quality of Life and Health, Francisco Calderon.
Other speakers include representatives of the institutions present, several people with disabilities who will read in three languages, their families and voluntary associations.
