The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Cartagena has organized the event for the third year and Water Poetry Verses in which participants could submit their unpublished works in form of poetry and the common theme of water.
This year there were about fifty works, including international participation received from Italy and Buenos Aires.
Last November 12th took place the jury, which is composed of Aurora Huertas, Maria Luisa Carrión, Antonia Nieto, Carmen Aznar, Maria Dolores Ros and Juan Antonio Pellicer.
The two winners will receive a diploma and 300 euros.
He has won the poem The sea ember from his lips, Regal Jose Manuel Garcia, presented under the name of Daniela Cassini swallowed.
For its part, he received the second prize poem Rio Aguas, Marcelino Menéndez González.
This evening takes place at 17:30 the awards ceremony, to be attended representing the City of Cartagena by the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
The event is sponsored Hergasa and has the support of the Regional Delegation of the National Union of Writers of Spain.
During the ceremony, held at the Fundación Caja Murcia room in Pedreño building, there will be a poetry reading by Juan de Dios Garcia, Simon and Jeannine Aguado Hernandez Alcaraz.
Admission is free.
