The Student Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (CEUPCT) has elected a new management team, with students of architecture Joaquin Gimenez Francisco Gonzalez as president.
He is accompanied as vice president Cubas Desiree Guzman, master student in Industrial Engineering;
Noelia Carrasco secretarial chair, degree in Industrial Engineering;
and as treasurer, Manuel Paredes Ruiz, Telematics Engineering.
The new president of the Student Council UPCT main objective is marked as "reassess the student representation and expand the training of delegates from classes and schools, to better know our rights and there is greater concern for the collective," says Francisco Joaquin Gimenez.
The new policy will address students' needs related to the opening of study rooms, availability of parking, college sports, politics, scholarship and study aids and policy evaluation, progress and permanence.
The Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension congratulates the new management team and emphasized the commitment and effort of students with UPCT.
"Representatives are combining his studies with the tasks of representation, spend part of their time to improving the student body," he noted.
Martinez also stressed that these jobs provide added value to their curriculum because they develop skills such as leadership and teamwork.
