The Syrian liner sank nearly 110 years ago in Cartagena coast and today we remember him as a dramatic event that killed hundreds of people.
The Italian steamer was going to America but hit the Bass Islands Outside the Ants in Cabo de Palos.
From today until February 5 you can learn more about what happened and how he lived the fishermen of the area and the ship's crew through an exhibition that can be visited at the Municipal Archives of Cartagena, in the Artillery at the following times:
Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00 am to 13.45 pm Tuesday and Wednesday.
From 9.00 to 13.45 hours and from 17.00 to 19.45
