The Syrian liner sank nearly 110 years ago in Cartagena coast and today we remember him as a dramatic event that killed hundreds of people.
The Italian steamer was going to America but hit the Bass Islands Outside the Ants in Cabo de Palos.
From November 26 until next February 5 will be able to know more about what happened and how he lived the fishermen of the area and the ship's crew through an exhibition that can be visited at the Municipal Archives Cartagena, in the Artillery at the following times:
Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00 am to 13.45 pm Tuesday and Wednesday.
From 9.00 to 13.45 hours and from 17.00 to 19.45
In this exhibition unpublished images of the stranded boat and reach survivors, as part of a private collection and that have been recovered are presented.
The tour also includes documents generated in those days that are kept in the Municipal Archives: telegrams, reports, correspondence, lists of shipwrecks, adoptions and rewards.
Also you will see original objects that once were found on board the boat and have been specially compiled for this exhibition.
In addition, through two documentaries Salzillo Productions will be screened in the audiovisual room of the Archives.

The Syrian naugrafio. Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00 to 11.00 and from 11.30 to 12.30
The wreck of a dream. Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00 to 11.00, 11.30 to 12.30, 17.00 to 18.00 and from 18.30 to 19.30
The exhibition will be officially opened on Thursday, November 26 at 11.30 hours, by the council of Finance and Home Affairs and Tourism, Francisco Aznar and Obdulia Gomez.
