Conesa Elena is the author of this thesis has studied the relationship between sport and health focusing on the healthy aspects of aesthetic group gymnastics.
The aim of this study pìonero at the University of Murcia is to work on the benefits of this sport in which you consider the postural positioning and state of the backbone of the gymnasts.
Elena Conesa explains that the judges score if it is not correct or body movement or technique and penalize if not executed properly.
Sports Councilman, Ricardo Mowing, released the thesis at a press conference, accompanied by Francisca Martinez and Antonio Pastor, co-directors of research.
Martinez stressed that this technique gymnastics serves to maintain the correct posture, the harmonious development of athletes and to further maintain a good health in the long term.
The thesis has been carried out from the Faculty of Sports Science of the University of Murcia in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Cartagena.
