Councillor for Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martin, inaugurated this morning the Cultural Week Senior Club of Santa Ana, accompanied by club president Angel Casanova.
The mayor took advantage of his visit to see the facilities, as well as the needs and concerns of the fifty people who have gathered on this first day of activities.
Later, he presented the book My Dream Fulfilled, with his author, Isabel Agüera.
A publication containing 80 pages of poems and a story that, in the words of Carmen Martin, takes you to immerse yourself in a world that want to discover all its network.
The presentation concluded with the reading of poems by Carmen Martin and Isabel Agüera, and with a plaque of recognition for his ten years of dedicated Senior Club José Martínez.
The Cultural Week Santa Ana continues Tuesday with a display of gerontogimnasia and the performance of the Rondalla de Santa Ana. In the coming days, and until the Sunday 29 with the closing Mass and a convivial meal will be held, Championships will be games, theatrical performances, a socio-cultural tour and presentation of Major Security Plan.
