The City of Cartagena, through the Local Development Agency and Employment (ALDE), has increased by 6,000 euros the annual subsidy Murcianas Federation Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic (FAMDIF / COCEMFE ¿Murcia) a prize that will go to the extension and improvement of the information service and advice that the federation pays for training and hiring of people with disabilities.
Deputy Mayor and president of the ALDE, Ana Belen Castejon, and the president of FAMDIF, Carmen Gil, this morning signed the amendment to the current agreement from 2008, which restores the original endowment of the agreement amounting to 12,000 euros. The previous team government introduced a 50% reduction in the budget included in the agreement signed between the two institutions.
Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, stated that increasing this endowment will result in service improvement and expansion of information and advice that the federation provides for the greatest number of people with disabilities in Cartagena pued an access to new courses training and thus get an employment contract because they include up to an own job.
The president of the ALDE said that this extended endowment for FAMDIF embodies the firm commitment of the government team with social policies that directly benefit citizens with greater needs and demands, with the people hardest access full employment and social integration of the municipality of Cartagena.
The ALDE and FAMDIF collaborate regularly through the exchange of courses, seminars and additional training on issues related to the integration of groups of people with disabilities and / or organic. FAMDIF consists of 17 associations and has in Cartagena more 3,000 partners can benefit from this economic expansion thanks to the agreement signed with the City.
