A total of 109 poems were submitted to the convening of the ninth International Poetry Prize Antonio Oliver Belmar, organized by the Department of Culture and the People's University of the City of Cartagena, whose winner will be announced on Tuesday 24 November twentieth.
Luis Alberto de Cuenca who this year was awarded the National Literature Prize in Poetry-mode, Vicente Gallego, Eloy Sanchez Rosillo and Blanca Andreu: That day the jury, which is formed by renowned poets meet ;
plus a representative of the publishing Pre-texts, in charge of editing the winning work.
They will be those who, after a final review of the selected works will choose the poems that will rise this year with the award.
The work has come from all corners of Spain Would Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Huelva, Murcia, Valladolid, Almeria, Sevilla, Córdoba, Bilbao, Mallorca, Granada, Navarre, Gijon among other cities and peoples-and beyond our borders: USA, Germany, Argentina, Mexico and England.
The prize is worth 5,000 euros and the publication of the work, and the deadline ended last October.
The winner of the previous edition was Sandro Moon, professor of Institute of Barcelona.
