The council area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon has come this morning to multipurpose premises district of Conception about the activities carried out in the workshops of the Municipal Programme for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities.
This activity is organized by the Department of Social Services City of Cartagena.
Calderon has seen firsthand the different tasks carried out in this workshop.
The mayor praised crafts made by users, while highlighting the importance of such projects, which perform an important work with the elderly and disabled.
The workshop, which began last October and end in June, takes place in different districts and councils of Cartagena, from Cuesta Blanca, ports or Isla Plana to San José Obrero and La Manga.
A total of seven monitors are in charge of running these workshops.
In each, with groups of fifteen to twenty people, different activities, such as visits to museums, theater or lectures are developed.
Also, next month Christmas baking workshop will be held at the Day Care Centers in El Algar, Los Dolores and Orpea.
