The Auditorium and Convention Center The Batel host this Saturday, November 21 the nineteenth sample Choral Maestro Jose Espinosa, the Coral Carthagonova organized in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, and with the participation of seven corals, all except Cartagena one that comes from Torre Pacheco, with over two hundred choristers to join their voices on stage.
An event presented Wednesday the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez, president of the Coral Carthagonova Jose Antonio Arribas, highlighting the mayor's figure of Maestro Jose Espinosa, which gives its name to the sample, and is a credit to the city, where he has been promoter of music and culture, being a teacher also from other great musicians.
Espinosa precisely, the greatest exponent of this kind of music, will be responsible for directing the day to close at seven participating choirs, who will perform La Flor Marina.
In Room B Auditorium, from 18.00, and free entrance until full capacity, will act the Choir and Rondalla A Son de Mar, the Coral Ars Antiqua, Sauces School Choir, the Choir of Our Lady Asuncion and the Harmonia Coral Coral Magister.
At first I was also expected to attend the Mass Choir Tomas Luis de Victoria, finally, due to scheduling problems, will not attend the shows.
This musical event, which coincides with the feast of the patron saint of musicians, Santa Cecilia, will be completed with the celebration, on Sunday 22, at 11.00 hours, a Mass sung in Charity, which will be also directed by Jose Espinosa.
