The Minister of Culture and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo, held a meeting this afternoon with a set of Cartagena creators in order to understand their concerns and find ways to spread their work to society.
This meeting in Cartagena continuation of other maintained with different artistic groups and artists in which Noelia Arroyo reports on the proposals and the work being done by the Department in order to improve and add new proposals for the development of culture in the region Murcia.
Among those attending this meeting in Cartagena Belén Orta, Piluca Coello, Fernando Saenz sculptors were;
photographers Juan Manuel Diaz Burgos, Antonio Gómez Ribelles and Julian Contreras;
painters Piedad Martinez Torres, Calos Jose Perez Gomez, Gonzalo Sicre and Isidoro Perez Lopez;
and Antonio Vidal Máiquez recorder.
Noelia Arroyo, who already met a few days ago with a group of writers, said, "This government wants to improve the culture and make it more sustainable with the collaboration of all those involved in its development."
"We want society to be involved and that the work of the artists have greater visibility inside and outside the region, and therefore we will continue to count on them for exhibitions of all halls and museums regional, while we seek new strategies, ideas and partnerships to export talent, in this case artists from Cartagena, "he said.
Through this series of meetings it is to establish a dialogue with all cultural agents to listen to their demands and proposals.
Also, the minister is transmitting directly some of the projects already underway, such as the recently announced tax breaks for those who invest in culture as well as other initiatives that we are working to improve and enhance the cultural industry in the region.
