The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, and Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon have come this morning the inauguration of the remodeling of the offices of Radio Cadena SER Cartagena.
They have also been present at the event, the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, Minister of Culture, Noelia Arroyo;
Radio director Cartagena, Antonio Rosas;
the regional director of Cadena SER, Domingo Camacho, and the CEO of Prisa Radio Operations in Spain, Francisco Velez.
Lopez said during his speech, freedom of expression has always been seen as a danger to those who fear the truth, but has also been the great hope of those who fight for the truth comes to light, as a key weapon to end corruption and manipulation.
Therefore, he noted the importance of t he media, professional and free to defend the right to freedom of expression.
The mayor referred to the history of Radio Cartagena, opened on February 26, 1981, always very close to the life of the municipality, while praised their new facilities of the highest national level, which represent a step forward for SER in Cartagena, a better place from which to provide such information from the professional rigor and respect for the rights of all citizens.
