When it comes to deal with this, for us, important event we wanted to do work that not only remain in the merely anecdotal and that represents a fairly large number, but we wanted to give the greatest possible symbolism we are convinced on the urgent need and almost teaching obligation to explain and teach our history, at least that our group represents, from the dogmatic point of view as possible.
Obviously we have taken certain liberties protected by the need to merge different aspects as diverse as historical accuracy, and anniversary party.
Since we have tried Troop contextualize a logo that represents the mystical symbolism or ritual used by Ilergetes, people to whom we give life each September.
The numbers are based historically goldsmiths and pictorial style ceramic Iberian Ebro Valley and other areas of influence performances, highlighting the two representations of the head of the wolf, totem animal of Ilergetian people.
The typography of the word "anniversary" is made with strokes of a northeastern Iberian signario.
Also we used, freely, the colors that represent our troops, green and red Cartagena.
It is noteworthy that this is an exclusive creation of Adrian Baeza García, whom from here we want to express our gratitude.
Short history of the Ilergetes:
The Ilergetes were a Celtiberian town that occupied part of the Iberian peninsula before the arrival of the Romans.
They were located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, from the Low Urgel to the Ebro river, occupying what today are the provinces of Huesca and Lleida, occupying the rich basins of the River Segre, the Noguera Pallaresa, Noguera Ribagorzana, the Cinca and Alcanadre.
Their signs are for long periods of time in the present province of Zaragoza and the north of Castellon.
Its capital was Atanagrum, whose exact location is unknown.
Another important city was Ilerda, also called Iltirta or Iltirda, (the current Lleida) and that at certain times was also the capital, reaching in some periods regarded as the largest in the peninsula north of Sagunto city.
The strategic location of the territory of the Ilergetes favored alliances with Rome or Carthage, though it is claimed today unanimously that the real interest ilergetes and their leaders was to promote their own interests, defend its people and extend beyond their conquering borders to neighboring countries on the margins of the two great powers of the Western Mediterranean at the time.
Its main features are:
- They had an advanced structure and organization as a society, one in Iberia.
- Due to this organizational structure and nurtured had a great army, the most powerful of Iberia.
- The possession of silver mines that were exploited for trade with other nations for what they did to be a rich village.
