"A catalyst for change, travels and encounters stage," David Hernandez Lopez defines its 'Land Transport Terminal (TTT) Cartagena', the final project that has graduated in Architecture from the UPCT.
The intermodal station that offers this new graduate in Architecture from the Polytechnic would combine "necessary for the city" transport.
So, include the AVE, the conventional train, FEVE, a tram and rearranging future buses.
The terminal would also have multipurpose and traveler accommodation facilities.
The project puts the current station, whose historical value is preserved with a contemporary intervention in a green axis of sustainable and efficient mobility that would connect all this arch of the city, from Torreciega the port.
The proposed intervention, performed both urban and architectural scale, including the burial of all the tracks in their access to the terminal and aims to dispel the existing gap between the barrios of Los Mateos, Sector Station and Old Town.
The work, supervised by José Maria Lopez and the teachers also UPCT Carcelen and Edith Ricardo Aroca, part of the analysis of neighborhood disputes arising from the arrival of the High Speed ​​Cartagena.
