More than 120 students from third grade school St. Vincent de Paul have enjoyed a day of athletics at the Municipal Tennis Club with monitors Elcano, within the activities that the Department of Sports City of Cartagena has developed through the Program ADE.
The session began with a tour of the track, showing the areas where school athletics are done and getting the necessary explanations. After preliminary heating, the students have practiced various forms such as release disk, high jump, long and speed.
Experience has aroused enthusiasm in the children who have had the opportunity to know the characteristics of the sport in the hands of professionals Elcano Athletics Club as Alfredo Castilla (president) and Toni López (Vice President) and monitors, and Javier Alberto Ferrer.
The day ended with delivery of gifts to the school by the Department of Sports and the club that gave a shirt and witnesses relay.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Association of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
