The economist, university professor and expert in tourism, Antonio Garcia Sanchez, is the new manager of the Cartagena Convention Bureau Foundation, approved yesterday by the governing board of trustees, chaired by the Mayor, José Sánchez López.García a PhD in Economics and Master in Economics from the School of Economic Londo, director of the research group UPCT in tourism analysis and vice president of the Spanish Association of Scientists and Researchers in Tourism.
He has published several articles in the field of tourism in the best national and international journals and several books regarding tourism, among which lately: 20 years of tourism in Spain and The Industry Cruceros.En appointment has also weighed his dilated experience and extensive knowledge of economic and tourist reality of ciudad.La Foundation Convention Bureau is composed of the City of Cartagena and other entities and companies in the tourism sector ciudad.Entre its objectives is the promotion of events, cultural activities, professional and socio-economic development primarily in the Congress Center of Cartagena so that it becomes an engine and reference for the promotion of the municipality in all areas and in diffusing its image abroad and Other facilities in the city prepared to host such events.
