The mayor, Jose Lopez, today received in his office at the Town CICOP CEO of the Foundation (International Centre for Heritage Conservation) Palace, Miguel Angel Fernandez Matrán, a meeting which was also attended by the Councillor of the Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, and in which there has been talk about the draft Cartagena declaration as Cultural Landscape of Humanity.

According to the director of CICOP, this is a project that must work hand the four institutions that make up the executive committee thereof, Town Hall, UPCT, Navy and CICOP Foundation are, and tomorrow, will meet this committee in the Rector of the University to develop the roadmap with guidelines to follow.

Matrán Fernández noted that the meeting will go on setting dates, but what is already planned that the project is completed in 2017. Hence leave the candidate who, in turn, will rise to the Ministry of Culture for this herein by Spain to UNESCO.
