The City, through the Department of Social Services, organized with the collaboration of the major clubs in the municipality, a new edition of the Elderly and disabled people, FEMADS 2015, which will be on 6, 7 and 8 November at the Esplanade of the port.
In total there will be 31 stands where the work done by older during the course will be displayed, and also give you information about services available, as pointed out during the presentation ceremony the mayor of Social Services, Carmen Martin remembering that many alternatives are offered to seniors and under should not be an obstacle to doing things.
Inaugurate the fair the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, on Friday at 13.00 hours and held the closing ceremony on Sunday at 14.30 hours, and in the meantime will be open during business hours and from 10.30 to 14.30 from 17.30 to 21.00 hours.
The program of activities includes a sample of traditional costumes of Cartagena and Shire, Therapy drums, performances by street musicians, talks about the benefits of memory training, workshops and gerontosalud breathing exercises, belly dancing and recycling performance Carnival parades by clubs over Los Belones, La Aljorra, Miranda and La Manga, and already on Sunday, finally, will be a visit of the chestnut club over the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood.
During the presentation ceremony, Carmen Martin was accompanied by the Councillor of Greater Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon and Social Services Coordinator, Damian Perez Olmos.
