The owners have 15 days to remove them from the street |
The Local Police of the City of Cartagena has detected 21 vehicles on public roads with signs of abandonment by their owners. Between 13 and 31 October last agents have been conducting a special campaign to locate such vehicles pose a risk.
The campaign is mainly held in the city and adjacent districts. The owners will be notified and given a period of 15 days to proceed to its withdrawal from the route.
After this deadline, the vehicle will be considered municipal solid waste being removed by the municipal towing service to tank vehicles .The penalty for abandoning a vehicle is a fine of 80 euros that can reach 1,500 euros if no compulsory insurance, plus the costs of removal and custody in the tank municipal.Sin count these 21, since 2013 were removed from the streets of Cartagena a total of 110 abandoned vehicles.
