The Rascasa Association today unveiled Wednesday at his home in the neighborhood of Los Mateos, the program of events that have been prepared to mark the 25th anniversary of this non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the comprehensive development of neighborhoods or high risk areas social.
The presentation was attended, among others, the vice president of the Regional Assembly, Mead;
Councillor of Greater Quality of Life Government City of Cartagena, Francisco Calderon;
Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin;
the mayor of the municipal corporation, Pilar Marcos;
and the directors of the Hasdrubal and Stella Maris, Jose Vazquez and Juan Manuel Nieto schools.
During the ceremony, the president of Rascasa, Encarnacion Aguirre, has shelled the evolution of the association and the actions carried out in this first quarter century.
Subsequently, the coordinator, Adelaide Martin presented the program for this 25th anniversary and includes activities that will be developed until June.
Among them, the contest poster of the 25th anniversary, a repopulation of Mount Calvary, participation in the Falshmob for the Rights of the Child, an open, collection and distribution of toys in Los Mateos doors, a visit to City Hall, the competition What is for you ?, Rascasa a round table on social inclusion in disadvantaged neighborhoods, a competition with mobile short a gymkhana and a route through the neighborhoods of Los Mateos, Lo Campano, Urbanisation Santiago and Santa Lucia: Anda with Rascasa.
The program will close with the award of the summoned contest, which will be in May and an anniversary dinner scheduled for June.
The presentation ended with the screening of a commemorative video and the words of Councillor Francisco Calderon, who congratulated all members of Rascasa on behalf of the government team, confirming the will to take a clear line of work promote and invigorate all neighborhoods of Cartagena, with special attention to those who are most disadvantaged.
