The Municipal Archives hosted on the afternoon of Tuesday 27 Octob e, the first meeting of the Panel of Historical Memory. During the meeting Grandal Alfonso Lopez was elected president, and Luis Miguel Perez Adam as secretary Workgroup.
The Panel also set a calendar, reaching agreement to collect all the information by groups and associations throughout the month of November, in addition to setting the necessary meetings throughout the month to meet agreed by the full City Council, in the sense that Information Commission of Finance and Interior to raise an opinion for approval before December 31.
The Commission created by the full City Council of Cartagena named this Working Group to comply with the provisions of Law 57/2007 of December 26, better known as the Law of Historical Memory, by which recognizes and extends rights and measures in favor of those who suffered persecution or violence during the Civil War and the dictatorship established.
