The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, received this morning's license credited as honorary member of the Vespa Club Cartagena.
The honorary president of the association, Jeronimo Sanchez Garcia, has been commissioned to deliver this distinction.
The Vespa Club Cartagena, which has been virtually dormant for a decade, returns to take force and in just one week of activity and has 25 members.
Therefore, coinciding with this October celebrated its sixtieth anniversary, was handed to the mayor of his highest honor: the honor membership card.
During the ceremony, which took place at the Palace Hall, Lopez expressed his gratitude for this recognition.
Cartagena from Vespa Club have organized every Saturday for a visit to a neighborhood or council, which held a lunch and enjoy the diversity of the landscape.
They will begin this Saturday October 24 visiting the Apollo Theatre The Algar.
The mayor stressed that resuming routes through the town is a great idea for citizens to know our heritage.
