The Board of guilds, presided over by the bishop of Cartagena, is composed of four Cartagena brotherhoods: the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno (mako), Pontifical, Real and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus in the Painful Passage of Arrest and Esperanza of the Salvation of Souls (California), Ilustre and Real Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Socorro and the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Risen.
