The Governing Council has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, the contract for execution of works for the widening and conditioning of the RM-314 highway, which connects Los Belones and Atamaría, in the municipality of Cartagena with a budget of 3,920,876 euros.
With these works the need to adapt the characteristics of the current stretch of road traffic, with 4,226 drivers who pass through this road every day, that will benefit from increased road safety serves.
It is a road of great importance to the south east of the Campo de Cartagena, which gives access from the highway to La Manga area tourist influx, with annual traffic of over 1.5 million vehicles.
The total project investment, 3,920,876 euros, divided into two annuities, allocating two million euros in 2016 and the remaining 1,920,876 euros in 2017.
