The City of Cartagena, along with the Club Trialbici Cartagena and Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, organized Trialbici Regional Championship, which will be held on Sunday October 25 at the permanent circuit of that club, located in the Quarry Road to the height of the Popos.
Councillor of Greater Sports, Ricardo Segado, along with the pilot and chief Trialbici Region, Raul Martinez, the president of the regional federation of Cycling, José López Tortosa, and the club president Trialbici Cartagena, Fulgencio Sanchez, presented this morning the details of this sporting event which this year has a new, and has been incorporated for a final super elite category, in which the top four will compete in four areas of upper level to decide the winner of the test, as it has advanced the mayor.
The tournament will begin at 9 am with the departure of the smaller categories, while the output of the upper will take place from 11.30 hours.
A share of around fifty athletes are expected and also invited riders from other regions, including Benito Ros, ten times world champion;
World junior runner-up, Sebastian Ruiz, and the cadet triple world champion, Alejandro Montalvo.
Only one test is performed, with five areas of obstacles for adults and five for children, to be performed twice.
Mowing Ricardo stressed the bet that from the city of Cartagena is being done for this type of cycling, we are convinced that we must encourage it because then we report successes and triumphs for the municipality, as it brings Raul Martinez, recent Cup champion Spain.
