Accompanied by the manager of Old Town, the rector of the UPCT and representatives of the Community of Irrigators, Jose Lopez walked on Friday nurseries and laboratories in the School of Agriculture conducts research
The mayor, Jose Lopez, accompanied by the manager of Casco Antiguo, Antonio Garcia, rector UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, and representatives of the Community of Regates, held last Friday a visit to the Finca Tomas Ferro, where he is Experimental Station Agrifood, research center under the School of Agricultural Engineering.
During the meeting, it deepened in the relations of the Polytechnic University and the city of Cartagena, in addition to a tour of the facilities, such as nurseries and laboratories where UPCT develops important projects both themselves and for private companies.
Among the activities taking place at this center, located in La Palma, include those related to the food technology R & D groups in the departments of Food Engineering and Agricultural Science and Agricultural Technology and Equipment Plant Production.
