The Councillor for Portal and Transparency Office, José María Soler, yesterday held a meeting in the administration building of San Miguel with the president of the Coral Carthagonova Jose Antonio Arribas, and vocal, Antonio Lopez.
At the meeting various actions taken in the past year under the collaboration with the city of Cartagena were addressed. Additionally, those issues still must be made ​​until the end of the year were explained.
On the other hand, those responsible for the councilor Coral forward initiatives planned for next year.
The mayor confirmed the intention to maintain institutional support for the musical group.
Carthagonova Polyphonic Choir began in the school year 78-79 since, at the beginning, consisted of school students, teachers and parents associations.
Over time, the Choir opened its doors to members from different backgrounds and areas.
The group has several goals, among which promote polyphonic music;
channel the cultural movement of Cartagena through choral singing and to publicize his musical activity at local, regional, national, and even international level.
