VI Fair Trade Outlet Cartagena has closed its doors on the esplanade of Puerto with record number of visitors and sales, since this issue has had a day more than in previous years and was held for 4 days, 9 to 12 October.
The treasurer of the Federation of Small and Medium Shops and District of Cartagena, Salvador Amoros, highlighted the huge influx of visitors to the fair, which has had its greatest day of activity during the day on Saturday.
Amoros has stated that parking near the Port location has been ideal because we have seen that many tourists have visited other nearby provinces like Alicante, Valencia, Almeria and even Madrid during the opening days of the fair.
In this issue commercial stands were installed in a tent of 500 square meters where are located some thirty retail clothing, footwear, optics, accessories, jewelry, gifts or decorations of different associations such as strip mall, Street Merchants Association San Fernando, Cenit Mall Merchants Association or Mile.
Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Trade, Ana Belen Castejon, stated that the City will continue to promote the traditional trade fair Cartagena and other initiatives in the street split revive sales and boost the economy of small and medium establishments as the Area Economic Strategy is already working on a plan for boosting trade not only in the city but also in other districts and councils of the municipality.
