The School of Education and Innovation of the Public Administration (EFIAP) in collaboration with SPACE, has organized the course of police inquiries Instruction Crimes against road safety.
Detection of Drug and Psychotropic Substances in conductors.
The course starts today October 13 and 14 will also take place.
The main objective of the course is to train local police for investigation of proceedings in such crimes, 796.7 delartículo application of Law 38/2002 of 24 October, partially amending the Criminal Procedure Act.
The main points are intended to the realization of this course is to acquaint participants with the novelties of the reform of the Traffic Act of March 20, 2014, learn to recognize the symptoms of driver under the influence of drugs, narcotics and psychotropic in vehicle drivers motorcycles and mopeds substances, instruct participants in the use of drug detection equipment, extracting evidence and chain of custody.
The course was organized by the Directorate General of Traffic.
The presentation was made by the Provincial Traffic Chief Murcia, Virginia Jerez Cayuela, and participating speakers and doctors Fernando Pérez Torralba and Bahjat Hassan Assaf, members of the Spanish Society of Medicine Traffic, Paul Lanzarote, Road Safety Tax Murcia and F. Martinez Angeles Ripoll, Head of Administrative Service of the JPT Murcia.
The course also includes a practical activity in the street on the determination of drugs in vehicle drivers and assessment of general and specific signs, which will be coordinated by the Spanish Society of Traffic Medicine Association of the Civil Guard Traffic Police Local Cartagena.
The course lasts 20 hours and will be held on 13 and 14 October in the morning and afternoon sessions.
