The National Police today celebrates its day, October 2, in honor of its patron, the Santos Angeles Custodians. For this reason it has opened a sculpture that looks at Cartagena del Carmen, being the first city to host this figure in honor of National Police.
The sculpture was made ​​by Juan Jose Quiros and inaugurated this morning with the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, Councillor of Greater Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, and the mayor of Rea of Public Safety, Francisco Aznar.
Furthermore, the opening ceremony was attended by the Government Delegate, Antonio Sanchez-Solis Querol, vice president of the Regional Assembly, the Chief Executive of the National Police in the Region of Murcia, Cartagena Commissioner, Ignacio del Olmo, among other civilian and military authorities.
