The Local Police of Cartagena has been awarded the prize of the Foundation for the Study of Road Safety (FESVIAL), which received Thursday in Madrid the local police chief, Manuel Asensio, from the president of the Commission for Road Safety and sustainable mobility of the Congress of Deputies, Pere Macias, for its work on Road Safety, anchored by the various Education and Prevention campaigns that are carried out in the municipality.
With this award professionalism and qualification it is recognized that municipal officials have developed through actions of information, monitoring and preparation of reports and Atestados campaigns on road safety, also emphasizing transparency in the publication of its proceedings, findings and statistics, resulting in citizens greater awareness of the dangers and safety on our roads there.
FESVIAL addition, other agencies and organizations cooperate and lend their support to advance important issues such as the Road Safety is the case of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) National Union of Heads and Managers of Local Police (Unijepol) Foundation for Traffic Safety and Sustainable Mobility (NACE).
