The Governing Board of the Road Safety Park was held this morning to take stock of the work done in the Driver Education course 2014-2015. The Governing Board was chaired by the Security council, Francisco Aznar, accompanied by the mayor of Education David Martinez, and representatives of both the Federation
Neighborhood Associations and the Ministry of Education.
Also he presents the director of the Traffic Park, Antonio Garcia, the provincial head of Traffic, representatives of political parties, among other guests.
The main highlights from the past year 2014-2015, according to the Security council, will be similar to this year.
In all, 58 schools participated with 2,387 students, 266 secondary school students, 6 kindergarten schools with 265 students and a vocational training center with 100 people.
As a novelty, the mayor stressed that this year n ew monitor as a responsible person trained to teach children road safety education be incorporated.
The mayor of Security, Francisco Aznar, explained that the first Governing Board, which I chair and has served to remember the year 2014-2015 and to raise the current program activities to be undertaken by monitors Security Park to teach children on issues of road safety education.
In addition, the council has clarified that is a job to be done and that is aimed to educate children about how to behave in a city in respecting traffic signs, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, etc..
Francisco Aznar recorded that aims to educate children. The program of activities carried out in the Road Safety Park is aimed at students in 5th and 6th grade, where circuits made ​​on the premises, among other activities.
There are also activities planned to students attending 3rd of ESO, but in this case the monitors are moving to the institutes.
Aznar noted that road safety education is very important as we are raising awareness among children so that tomorrow respect the traffic signs and other people trained in driver education.
