Professor of Applied Mathematics and Director of the Research Group Dynamical Systems UPCT, Juan Luis García Guirao be part of the board of international experts responsible for providing advice to the Zewail City of Science and Technology to create an Institute of Mathematics Applied Engineering.
The proposal has come from an international committee headed by Professor M. Abdel-Aty.
The teacher has been a few days in town to give a lecture.
After the presentation, the rectors of the Zewail City of Science and Technology and the American University of Cairo have received UPCT teachers and have been interested in recent research conducted at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and expressed their interest in establishing ties collaboration with the institution for its students to pursue some of the masters taught in Cartagena.
The visit has arisen interest in establishing cooperation agreements between both universities for Egyptian students to train in Cartagena and vice versa.
In fact, a student at Cairo University UPCT come to know in a few weeks.
The Zewail City of Science and Technology is a university founded under the auspices of Ahmed Zewail Nobel Prize in Chemistry and reference in research in Egypt with more than 350 doctoral students and 9 Nobel laureates on its governing council.
