The company Smart cities and urban work of Jose Antonio Angel SIOUX Fonta has been chosen as the best idea YUZZ Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) Center and obtained a place to travel to Silicon Valley, the mecca of global innovation, October 29 to November 4.
The jury selected this project as the best YUZZ Center Cartagena, in which 20 young entrepreneurs are supported UPCT, Red Emprendia and Entrepreneurship Chair of Santander.
Fonta, along with 42 other young promises of national technological environment, will visit Silicon Valley to learn about the largest ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation in the world.
They know great international importance companies as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook or Hewlett Packard and lectures at prestigious universities such as Berkeley or Stanford.
They may also know the Spain Tech Center (STC) -driven by Banco Santander, ICEX and Red.es-, whose goal is to facilitate the implementation of technology-based SMEs in Spanish in one of the most dynamic and competitive environments in the world.
On November 6, at Ciudad Grupo Santander, the 42 youngsters will present their ideas to a committee composed of representatives of Banco Santander, CISE (Centre Santander International Entrepreneurship) and associates the Program YUZZ jury.
The three best entrepreneurs will receive a prize (30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 euros) to enable them to accelerate their projects.
