National Police agents have intercepted a vehicle carrying a kilo of cocaine hidden in a compartment in the glove compartment.

Three months before the investigation began when knowledge of the Cartagena introduction of a variety of high purity narcotic substance for distribution in direct sales to consumers were reported.

The agents proceeded to make a thorough search of the car, resulting in the discovery a secret compartment in the glove compartment of a package containing 1,276 grams of cocaine.
The occupants of the car were arrested immediately afterwards on suspicion of a crime against public health.

Then their homes, where 4,043 grams of hashish and 220 plates -distributed acorns, 25 grams of methamphetamine (crystal), 29 pills of MDMA (Ecstasy) and 35 grams of substance involved cutting were recorded.
Three precision scales, two laptops and other related drug effects were also found.

Two of the latter were surprised when one of the hastily abandoned homes was to be recorded.

The operation, which is still open, has been carried out by agents of the Narcotics Group of the Commissioner of the National Police in Cartagena.
