The feast of San Ginés approaches and for this reason, on Monday 24 and Tuesday, August 25 different activities as an offering of flowers and parades, the proclamation by Antonio Navarro, Mass and procession in honor will be held at San Gines de la Jara.
Monday night August 24 will feature the parade and start of the offering of flowers to the saint. The parade will begin at Rome, corner Cierva engineer to the parish church.
After the offering, it will be the turn of the proclamation by Antonio Navarro, in honor of the patron of Cartagena.
On Tuesday, August 25th at 19 am will be a Mass in honor of San Ginés de la Jara, presided by Rev.. Gomariz Lazarus, pastor and chaplain of the Brotherhood and Brotherhood of Romeros.
Later, it will begin a solemn procession of the image of San Ginés by Avenida Ingeniero de la Cierva.
On arrival at the temple will be the bazaar Bread Roll San Gines.
These activities in honor of San Ginés are organized by the Parish of San Ginés de la Jara, Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara Romeros and the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara.
They also work the City of Cartagena, El Corte Ingles in Cartagena and associations and groups in the slums of San Gines and Torreciega.
