The film returns to Saint Lucia (30/06/2015)

On Friday June 26 was inaugurated in St. Lucia a film series that will run throughout the summer, with the day of issue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 22.00 to 00.00 in the courtyard of the Social Center district, with the collaboration of Alfonso Santos.

The idea arose in the working group are St. Lucia, where the Department of Social Services City of Cartagena participates, to convey to the residents the importance that cinema in the neighborhood for many years.

Saint Lucia had seven theaters throughout its history.

The first Sport and Cinema Isla Ideal,

that were located in the Chocolatero street, closed in 1940. Fourteen years later Monroy cinemas (1954-1978) open with the film The children are not sold; Coliseum (1961-1979) with the film Carmen de Ronda and the Cat on a Hot Tin Roof;

and People (1961-1979) with the film CBI against criminal empire.
