The Challenge I swam Cabo de Palos-Isla Hormiga has had a high participation where Rafael Poveda and José Luis Larrosa, in the men and Lara Lopez and Sofia Aledo female, were the winners of this first edition.
The test began on the beach of Levante, and tour round the participants swimmers had to skirt Ant Island, returning to the beach where the arch was located timing.
The challenge consisted of two categories, the 12 kilometers, where the Elche Jose Luis Larrosa, specialist international open water prevailed with a time of two hours, 51 minutes and 13 seconds, followed by Samuel Vidal, of Alcoy.
In the women, Sofia Aledo, Tri Natura Sport, came first with a time of 3 hours, 6 minutes and 13 seconds.
The second category, a test six kilometers where participants out from Ant Island, unique journey, to reach the goal. Rafael Pagan came first with a time of 1 hour, 13 minutes and 46 seconds, followed by Francisco Vallejo, he played all the way to the winner, to stop the clock at the same time as the first classified. Ã "scar Pina came in third.
The event was organized by the Association of Residents of Cabo de Palos and Swim Club Maste r.
The Department of Sports City of Cartagena collaborated with the activity.
