The Cartagena Film Festival (FICC) invites interested parties to submit short films to the competition at the 44th festival.
The committee will select the best short films to project during the week of the event, from November 29 to December 5, and these films will be participating in the contest.
The deadline for short is until 5 September.

There are two ways in which participants can register to present their short films: Official Short Film Section, aimed at domestic and foreign filmmakers, and MURcine, which only authors of Murcia allowed.
Prizes to participants are opting for best short, who will receive $ 3,000. In addition, there will be a recognition for best directing, cinematography and screenplay.
In MURcine section, the first prize Carabela Silver City Cartagena will be 1,500 euros, while the second, Submarine Peral, shall be EUR 500.
