The VII Cartageneros Wave Awards were held yesterday and went to five people or entities that have outstanding work in the city.

The gala was attended by Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belen Castejó n, and the councilor of Culture, Education and Equality, David Martinez Noguera.

With these awards it is recognized groups and individuals who have outstanding work in different categories.

The winners were:

-Prize Enterprise: Cafes Pérez Campos

-Prize Society: Pious Association of Our Father Jesus de Medinaceli

-Prize Culture: Juan Manuel Diaz Burgos

-Prize Sports: Patricia Llaguno Zielinski

-Prize Cartagenero of Honor: Juan Ignacio Garcia Ferrandez

The event was presented by the editors of Onda Cero, Damaris Ojeda and Francisco Rivas, and the jury of the annual awards was made ​​by Pedro Pablo Hernández Hernández, Entrepreneur and President of the COEC of Cartagena by category Company; Ginés Fernández Garrido, Controller Defense Ministry on standby for the category Society;

by category Culture, Elena Ruiz Valdez, Director of the Museum of the Roman Theatre in Cartagena;

and Juan Miguel Garcia Ingles, Director of the College Football Garden City UCAM Cartagena by category Sports.
