Workshops for immigrant women Promotion of Intercultural Center, organized by the Department of Social Services, held last June 8 lune the closing ceremony 2014/2015, with a day of coexistence in which a balance of course took place, certificates of attendance and participation were presented and concluded with a shared breakfast.
A total of 40 women from Morocco and sub-Saharan origin have participated in these workshops, which will resume after the summer.
The purpose thereof is to provide information and knowledge necessary to enable them to function in the host society and have more and more autonomy.
During the year we have worked issues such as Health, Education, Resources of the neighborhood or the city of Cartagena.
Similarly, professionals from various fields have given lectures on health centers, computers, etc.
Finally, the members of these Intercultural Center, have actively participated in activities such as Woman March, the literary contest for Migration Day or Women's Day.
