The American Congress of Sports Economics today began June 17 and will continue on Thursday 18 and Friday, June 19 in the auditorium of Isaac Peral of the Faculty of Business of the UPCT.
It is organized by the Universities of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Sports City of Cartagena, Segado Ricardo Garcia, the coordinator of Sports Activities of the City of Cartagena, Eduardo Armada, the CEO of Sports in office, Antonio Peñalver Asensio, head of Sports Service Autonomous Community, Eduardo Segarra, the dean of the Faculty of Sports Science at the University of Murcia and director of Congress, Arturo Diaz Suarez, the responsible team sports UPCT, Ricardo Ibanez, among others.
The conference focuses on the importance of the economic impact of sport in modern society, and aims to provide a forum for researchers and academic Ibero social agents to be an interchange of ideas and concepts in the field of sports economics.
The American Congress of Sports Economics aims to be an academic reference with the high demand for quality in the work presented.
Thus, it has assigned a Scientific Committee which oversees and guarantees the academic level of communications.
