In total, 25 students from different parts of the Region of Murcia and Valencia, began on Monday June 8 in Cartagena, the National Football course is organized by the National High School Coaches of the RFEF, and the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia and has the support of the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and Miralmonte Estate Education Center Santa Ana.
This course is held for the first time in the port city, and among the students enrolled there are several professional former players of first and second division as Alberto Cifuentes, Kike Mateo, Jorge Perez, David Karanka or Javi Manzano.
The theory taught in the course takes place in the classrooms of the School Miralmonte, performing the practical sessions in the Municipal Football Golf Residential Estate Santa Ana. The course is intensive, and during the months of June, July, September and October, will have a workload of 875 hours, 675 hours theoretical teaching practices and 200 hours of practical training as head coach for six months on a federated competition or football teams.
The various subjects to be taken are New Technologies, language (English), Professional Development III, III Team Management, Methodology III, Physical III, III Game Rules, Tactics and Game Basics III, Collective Technical III High Performance Training Sport, High Performance Sports Management, Sociology of High Performance, High Performance Sports Psychology, High Performance Sports Biomechanics and Physiology of High Performance Sports.
Under the agreement between UEFA and the RFEF, of August 31, 2010, students from the Federative courses have recognized its equivalence with UEFA PRO license for labor purposes in other countries affiliated to the Convention.
The course allows training and leading clubs from first and second division of professional football, 2nd division B, and third national division.
The opening ceremony was attended by the director of the School of Coaches, Antonio Jose Garcia Molina, Gambín, the delegate of the Coaching School in Cartagena, Domingo Egea, the municipal technician of Sports, Eduardo Martinez, together with the school head Miralmonte and EF Santa Ana, Juan Carlos, Maria Dolores and Francisco Sanchez, respectively.
