Organized by the City of Cartagena and the Cadena Cope, the fourth edition of the fair will make up 23 stands located on the Esplanade of the Port, where delicious tapas will be served from 27 until May 31
The fourth edition of Cartagena Sabor starts Wednesday 27 until May 31, will be open on the Esplanade of the Port, where they will be located the 23 stands of the participating restaurateurs who offer their best tapas.
The food fair, an event organized by the City of Cartagena and Cope, was presented this morning at the Hotel School, presentation which was attended by the Councillor for Commerce functions, Mariano García, with the director of events Chain COPE Murcia, Manuel Sotomayor, and José Miguel Gómez, external relations Estrella de Levante.
It is the fourth year of this food fair, where the aim has always been to bring out the gourmet catering to the city center, and a quick tour can taste all the tapas, as explained Mariano Garcia. Each year moves location due to the increased participation and this year on the Esplanade of the Port.
A part of the gastronomic aspect, the present edition of Cartagena Sabor host other events such as music concerts and competitions, among others.
Among the first will be on Thursday 28, Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May, with groups such as Jambalaya, Stolen and The Happys.
In addition, there are two types of contests for best cover, one vote a gastronomic professional jury with staff of the School of Hospitality, and regional and national level, and another vote on the public attending the food fair, through the tickets available at the stands.
There will also be other bloggers with professional culinary world that will promote the event, and prizes for the participating public, including visits to the factory of Estrella Levante on June 17, and local present in the food fair, lunch or dinner Local winners, a stay at the La Manga Club, etcetera.
Winners will be picked at random among those who scanned the tickets to assess the top, through the application Zankiu.
The tapas will cost two euros and beer, Estrella de Levante, to one euro. The stands will be open from 12.30 to 17 hours and from 20.00 to 01.00 hours.
Local participants are: Ángel Uran (Master Chocolatier), Licor 43, Asian Shop, Bodegas Serrano, La Patisserie Cornelio Garcia, Ego's, El Buen Descanso, A La Gastrobar Bar, Restaurant La Curra, 470 La Glorieta, Tuscany , The Patacha, El Barrio de San Roque, Sacromonte, Ricardo Fuentes e Hijos (Distributor), Restaurante La Catedral, Restaurante Los Habaneros, D¿Almansa, El Corte Ingles, Tram, House Beltrí, Tick Tack and Magoga.
The fourth edition of Cartagena Taste is organized by the City of Cartagena and Cadena Cope and sponsored by Estrella de Levante and BMW. Colaboran the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cartagena, with the official implementation of Zankiu event.
