Hundreds of schoolchildren develop cooperatives twenty (20/05/2015)

More than 600 students have shown their capabilities as entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs through the VI Mini Market, which took place this morning in the streets of San Javier Ribera in Cartagena.

The EJE project (Young European Enterprise) and EME (Entrepreneurship in My School) in the Region of Murcia aims to develop this initiative, entrepreneurship among youth in 16 primary and secondary schools and colleges in Cartagena and around through the experience of creating and managing mini-companies in the classroom.

They have attended the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, and woman, Clara Hall, the City of Cartagena.

677 students from fifteen schools have succeeded in developing 25 cooperatives from 7 municipalities. This year's novelty has been that they have developed five markets in different parts of the region such as Murcia, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cieza, Lorca and Cartagena.

The port city has hosted the VI Mini Market and has hosted municipalities Fuente Alamo, La Union, La Palma, Los Dolores, schools Mazarrón and Cartagena.

The HUB-EME projects are sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation, through the Institute of Development, and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, within the framework of Plan Emprendemos of Murcia.

School showed their products as books, earrings, bracelets, plants, nuts, muffins and many crafts made by themselves.

Most centers have worked many months to take the project forward.

Students have been involved to the fullest, develop its business from the beginning to the end, assigning the roles of each and following every step in creating a empresa.La students most of the money raised allocated to an NGO and school activities for all.

Ángel Martínez Conde, the CEEIC (Instituto de Fomento) explained that the children have formed a cooperative with its president, statutes and all necessary action, setting up a company from scratch to learn and develop entrepreneurship.

The Councillor for Education of the City of Cartagena, Joseph Marotta has stated that this project is being developed for many years, but this is the first carried out as such in Cartagena.

-CEIP San Antonio (Cañada de Gallego, Mazarrón).

-ies Hellín Antonio Costa (Puerto de Mazarron).

-CEIP El Mirador (El Mirador-San Javier).

-ies Mar Menor (Santiago de la Ribera).

-ies Sabina Mora (Roldan-Torre Pacheco).

In short, the objectives are:

-Put Into practice the entrepreneurial skills learned by students in the previous months in a real environment.

-Know Live and share the atmosphere and reality of merchants participating in weekly markets.

-Awakening Interest in this initiative in local and closer to the centers where the projects are developed (municipal institutions, companies, associations of parents, organizations and non-profit associations, etc.) areas.

PROJECT AWARDS

This initiative awards to those cooperatives Best Design of POS and Creativity and Innovation at regional level.

The semifinalists cooperatives in the Creativity and Innovation category at each level and region, will advance to the regional stage and compete within their project, HUB or EME, for the First and Second Regional Award for Creativity and Innovation.

Before June 20, 2015, it reported and will present his award to the two cooperatives awarded to each of the levels.

The prize will be a sightseeing tour for all students of the award-winning cooperative (4 prizes provided by the Tourism Institute: Water activities (Mar Menor) and Almadenes Canyon Cave Puerto (Cieza and Calasparra), Cartagena Port of Cultures (Cartagena ) and Mina Groups Vicenta (The Union).
