Support teaching and R & D through the electrification of vehicles is multi DFSK objective of the collaboration agreement signed by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the company Lorca, DFSK Iberian, dedicated to the import and multiservice vehicles bodywork specialized in public environments.
Through the agreement, both entities will promote the development of research related to electric drive vehicles.
The agreement includes the transfer by the company of a truck to the Laboratory of Electric-Hybrid vehicles of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
Another of the highlights of UPCT and approved by the Iberian DFSK agreement will be promoting contracts with different departments and research groups at the Polytechnic lines of research aimed at developing electric vehicles.
Research and innovation activities are carried out through transfer of advice regarding selection of components and the search for alternative solutions to the existing market.
At the signing ceremony attended by the rector of the UPCT, Jose Antonio Franco, and the Iberian DFSK CEO, Alberto Pascual.
