Telefonica-UPCT Chair presented today at the hall of degrees of the School of Telecommunications scholarship program Talentum Startup 2015 and has conducted the first tests to select five students and graduates of the Polytechnic.
In this edition, five scholarships of 500 euros per month are offered for six months part-time to develop technological projects.
The scholarships are intended for students and alumni of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena in any way and degree.
The event was attended by the regional director of Telefonica Spain, Lloret Angel, the director of the Telefonica-UPCT Chair, Rafael Toledo, and Jorge Mendoza, who recounted his experience as one of the two fellows at the Polytechnic of Cartagena in the last edition were selected for the national final.
Lloret pointed out that many alumni of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena have been built in recent years to the multinational Telecommunications and explained that, together with the Talentum scholarships, other training programs the company to attract young talent .
The Talentum fellows develop their own work in the Sea Wall of Cartagena Polytechnic campus in the new ELDI building, which includes research laboratories and Chairs Network Technology Companies and is a few meters from the School of Telecommunications.
